Humble Pie

Hello everyone! There are times in the lives of Followers of Jesus Christ, when we go through intense periods of sanctification. We are instructed by the word of God to examine ourselves to see if we’re in the faith. We are being sanctified, which simply means to be set aside, for the work of God. It’s a cleaning process for the Follower of Jesus Christ. We may have damaging backgrounds, issues and areas in our lives and we need deliverance to effectively do a work for God.

God takes the time to to clean us up, to strengthen us. I am going through a intense process of sanctification right now and I asked God to show me myself. Who knows me better than the one that created me? God is faithful and just. He will show us what’s in us especially Pride, whether it be the Pride of Life, Pride is a destroyer of the Followers of Jesus Christ because it will separate us from our power source which is God. “God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble.” James 4:6 KJV

I was having a phone conversation with a Sister in Christ Jesus and sharing with her how God is truly blessing me and delivering me for the working of the ministry. In so many words she said, you’re being served Humble Pie! She is so right! I’ve been eating Humble Pie for awhile and it’s starting to taste so good to my soul! Why? Because I can see how God is delivering me and it has been a rough journey but I’m so grateful. He’s preparing me for his service, that souls might be saved. My Humble Pie has been served in a variety of dishes but once I take a bite of the pie I can taste it’s that Humble Pie again! Praise and Glory be to God in the Highest! I appreciate God for taking the time to work on me! Because I am a big mess and he’s doing something wonderful with and for me, for his will and Glory! Thank you Lord!

Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort; Who comforts us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God. For as the sufferings of Christ abound in us, so our consolation also aboundeth by Christ. And whether we be afflicted, it is for your consolation and salvation, which is effectual in the enduring of the same sufferings which we also suffer: or whether we be comforted, it is for your consolation and salvation. And our hope of you is steadfast, knowing, that as ye are partakers of the sufferings, so shall ye be also of the consolation. 2 Corinthians 1: 3-7 KJV
