KARES In Action Outreach

KARES In Action Outreach. “And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not. 10 As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith.” Galatians 6:9-10 KJV

For years I was a member of institutionalized religion and had a sincere desire to serve God. I used to think there has to be more than this! God being Faithful has shown me a more perfect way and delivered me from institutionalized religion.

Outreach is Motivated by The Gift of Giving

My sister and I are both blessed with the gift of giving. KARES In Action, Inc. was inspired by that gift and desire. God blessed a fellow sister in Christ Jesus in 2019 to share a video link with me. This introduced me to the Outreach and Teaching Ministry of Sister Sharon. While watching Sister Sharon’s YouTube Videos and visiting her website it opened up the outreach of “Random Acts of Kindness.” God put it on my heart to start out with Handmade with Love Keychains and this journey has begun. I currently craft and put together various items to give away as “Random Acts of Kindness.”

Outreach to the Homeless on the Street

God has also given us a desire to assist the “Homeless on the Street” and we are currently reaching out to those who we see are homeless on the streets. We give out bags with daily essentials items to those living on the streets. The bags can contain daily essentials such as toothbrush, toothpaste, towel, soap, socks, gift card and often more.

The Homeless on the Street can often feel invisible. People don’t want to make eye contact with someone living on the street. Sometimes it can be because they’re afraid and feel they might be in danger. Others avoid looking because they don’t want to be asked for a handout. There are those that are embarrassed by the outward appearance and even existence of the homeless on the streets. There are so many reasons why people avoid contact with the homeless. This behavior magnifies that feeling of being invisible for the homeless on street because by majority they are actually being ignored.

“He that hath pity upon the poor lendeth unto the LORD; and that which he hath given will he pay him again.” Proverbs 19:17 KJV

“Bear ye one another’s burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ.” Galatians 6:2 KJV
