The Saints of God

Hello everyone! Did you know that the people of God are referred to as Saints in the Old and New Testament? There are so many man made doctrines and religions in the world today and many refer to themselves as Christians but throughout the New Testament the people of God are called Saints.

“He shall call to the heavens from above,
and to the earth, that he may judge his people.
Gather my saints together unto me;
those that have made a covenant with me by sacrifice. And the heavens shall declare his righteousness: for God is judge himself. Selah.” Psalms 50:4-6 KJV

Unto the church of God which is at Corinth, to them that are sanctified in Christ Jesus, called to be saints, with all that in every place call upon the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, both theirs and ours: 1 Corinthians 1:2 KJV

Sanctification defined, to make holy; set apart as sacred; consecrate. Saint defined, any of certain persons of exceptional holiness of life.

I have often referred to the Saints of God as Followers or Christ Jesus. This morning it resonated in my spirit to call my brothers and sisters in Christ Jesus “Saints”. AMEN! Glory to God!

We are referred to as Saints in the Old Testament, New Testament and Prophecies of things to come! “And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, saying, Behold, the Lord cometh with ten thousands of his saints, To execute judgment upon all, and to convince all that are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have ungodly committed, and of all their hard speeches which ungodly sinners have spoken against him. “ Jude 1:14-15 KJV

So my fellow Saints of God hold on to all that is Good! Praise the Lord for he is Magnificent! Lifting up always our Savior Jesus Christ who has reconciled us unto God! Hallelujah, Praise his holy name! God is just, merciful and his Love abounds always! Stay strong in the faith! We are Victorious! Peace!
