Helping Others

Hello everyone. Do you help others? Whether family, friends or strangers do you help others? Is your focus solely on taking care of yourself? Saints we are supposed to be givers, helpers of others and helpers of one another.

The Greatest givers are Almighty God and his Son Jesus the Christ. “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” John 3:16 KJV Jesus laid down his life for us! “Therefore doth my Father love me, because I lay down my life, that I might take it again. No man taketh it from me, but I lay it down of myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. This commandment have I received of my Father.” John 10:17-18 KJV

Jesus didn’t sin. Jesus didn’t commit the sins of adultery, fornication, lying, stealing, gossiping, murder etc. But you and I did! Jesus blood was shed for you and me and it was innocent blood. He didn’t put up a fight but he gave his life for you and me. “He was led as a sheep to the slaughter; and like a lamb dumb before his shearer, so opened he not his mouth: Acts 8:32 KJV Yet many professing to be Saints of God will not help others. Are you sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ? Do you help those in need around you? Do you encourage the downtrodden? Do you provoke, inspire or lift up anyone? Do you help feed the hungry? Do Random Acts of Kindness?

Saints of the most high God. Pray that the Lord will open your hearts to help others, if you are lacking in this area. “But this I say, He which soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly; and he which soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully. Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver. And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work: (As it is written, He hath dispersed abroad; he hath given to the poor: his righteousness remaineth for ever.” 2 Corinthians 9:6-9 KJV
