Self Motivation

Hello everyone! What do you do to motivate and or encourage yourself? We all have our moments where the struggle truly becomes real. We may feel overwhelmed because of situations and circumstances. “And David was greatly distressed; for the people spake of stoning him, because the soul of all the people was grieved, every man for his sons and for his daughters: but David encouraged himself in the LORD his God.” 1 Samuel 30:6 KJV

David is a great example of how we should learn to encourage ourselves in the Lord. Here at KARES In Action, Inc. I have an office wall full of Scriptures and words of Inspiration that continuously remind me how Faithful my God is! That no matter what the situation or circumstance God will bring me through it Victorious!

“I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.” Philippians 4:13 KJV

Even when things don’t turn out the way we think they should have we must believe in God. We must trust him because he knows what’s best for us. He knows what’s best for me!

“Though he slay me, yet will I trust in him:
but I will maintain mine own ways before him.” Job 13:15
