Get Over It!

Hello everyone! There will be times in our lives as Saints of God when we will encounter situations that will shake us. Yes, you will be shaken. It could be the realization and ending of an unhealthy friendship. The unexpected ending of a job. The death of a friend or loved one. Whatever the circumstance you will be shaken.

This is completely normal. Saints mourn for the loss of the friendship, job, or death. Cry if need be, but don’t stay in that mourning mindset too long. Wipe your eyes, continue on and get over it! Don’t wallow in self pity. Many times what shakes us God has allowed to make us. You’ve been in that unhealthy friendship for too long, that job wasn’t where God wants you to be, they hindering your walk with Jesus and your ministry. Everyone dies, our loved ones are a gift from God and they belong to God.

When any situation occur in our lives that shake us, we must go to God! Trust God, knowing that his purpose for us is always good. Always! “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end. Then shall ye call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you. And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.” Jeremiah 29:11-13 KJV

God loves us! “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” John 3:16 KJV I used to lack understanding and when things I considered were bad happened to me I thought God was punishing me. Sometimes we do need to be shaken up to get us back on the right path. What we must do is simply, Trust God! Hold on! Never Give Up and Never Quit!

“Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.
Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us. For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Romans 8:35-39 KJV
