Depression

Hello everyone! Depression defined is sadness; gloom; dejection. Depression is a condition or state of mind that is currently widespread throughout the land. There is trouble and hardships like never before or so it seems. People are losing hope and their days are filled with darkness. I’m very familiar with depression, I wrestled with in for many years in my life. It’s a dark place to be and my only hope is in Jesus Christ.

“Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.” John 14:23 KJV

For many years in my walk with Jesus I was deceived. When we don’t search out the scriptures for ourselves but rely completely on a so called spiritual leader then we limit ourselves in building a relationship with Almighty God our Father, Jesus Christ our risen Savior and the Holy Ghost the Spirit of Truth! We are led captive my dangerous ungodly men and carried away with their doctrines of men. Therein we have no hope, no faith, no joy, no peace and no relationship with our creator.

“Howbeit in vain do they worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men. For laying aside the commandment of God, ye hold the tradition of men, as the washing of pots and cups: and many other such like things ye do. And he said unto them, Full well ye reject the commandment of God, that ye may keep your own tradition.” Mark 7:7-9 KJV

“Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ: By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God. And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience; And patience, experience; and experience, hope: And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.” Romans 5:1-5 KJV

The source of everything we need comes from our Creator Almighty God and through our Savior Jesus the Christ! Without God we are lost in the world. There is no therapist on this earth that can heal the mind of what God has created. That power and authority belongs solely to God. Man in his rebelliousness doesn’t want to humble himself before God. He will spend this short life seeking help from those who need help themselves. We all need a Savior! If you will Repent and turn from your wicked ways; Follow Jesus Christ not man! Depression will no longer have dominion over you!

We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; Persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed; Always bearing about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our body.” 2 Corinthians 4:7-10 KJV
