Learn How to Be Alone

Hello everyone! Learn How to be alone. There was a time in my life when I felt I needed one true friend. I didn’t need to be loved by many. I just wanted to be special to one person, a good friend. Someone to confide in, you have my back and I’ll have yours. It never worked out for me. The truth is not, it’s hard to find a true friend. Very hard! Learn How to Be Alone!

When we look to man for our daily Strength, Encouragement or even Support we are setting ourselves up for failure. The Lord is my Strength. Because man will always fail me. Always!

“The LORD is my strength and song, and he is become my salvation: he is my God, and I will prepare him an habitation; my father’s God, and I will exalt him.” Exodus 15:2 KJV

“It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in man.” Psalms 118:8 KJV

Learn How to Be Alone with God

I am learning to be alone. I’m a bit of a loner and I enjoy my alone time. I must have time to be by myself. My alone time with God is precious. I have some of my sweetest talks with him during my alone time. Sometimes in our alone time I’m just listening and thinking. A lot of things that I used to run to tell my so called friend first, I tell God. He has become my confidant. Yes, I whine in his ear and cry on his shoulder often. I know he loves me and he cares about me.

Learn to be alone

There are times when it will be difficult to be alone. You will feel like you’re lonely. Lean on God. Spend time in God’s Holy Word. Study the Gospels and learn about our Lord and Savior Jesus the Christ. Learn to be alone but also learn to be your own best friend. Learn to take care of yourself, forgive yourself, examine yourself. If you learn to forgive yourself then you will be able to forgive others. The ability to properly love oneself helps with the ability to properly love others. It’s growth, let the natural man decrease so that the Lord might increase in your life. Build up the Spiritual man.

Encourage Yourself in the Lord

When times get rough Encourage yourself in the Lord! You don’t need any flesh to make it through. God will bring you through, he will never forsake you nor will he fail you!

“And David was greatly distressed; for the people spake of stoning him, because the soul of all the people was grieved, every man for his sons and for his daughters: but David encouraged himself in the LORD his God.” 1 Samuel 30:6 KJV

“And the LORD, he it is that doth go before thee; he will be with thee, he will not fail thee, neither forsake thee: fear not, neither be dismayed.” Deuteronomy 31:8 KJV
