The Cult: Control

Hello everyone! The Cult: Control. Control defined is the power to influence or direct people’s behavior or the course of events. Any Cult leader must have absolute control. They must be able to influence the people in every aspect of their lives. A Charismatic leader is a master of controlling his followers. I say “his” followers because they harken to his voice and not the voice of the Almighty God, Jesus Christ Our Lord and Savior or the Holy Ghost. They look for direction from their Charismatic leader and know not the voice of God.

How can they know the voice of God if they don’t build a relationship with God? The distraction of pleasing their Charismatic leader takes control of their lives. He teaches them to study his lessons and not the word of God. When they hear from God he tells them they are in error. He becomes their eyes and ears. They believe that he has a special relationship with God. He places himself in the position of their intercessor. The people of God have an intercessor, Jesus the Christ who died for our sins. Jesus died that we might be reconciled unto God. No other man has a right to place himself in that position. It is a shame before God! Jesus Christ is the only way to God!

The Cult: Control Not Love

The Charismatic leaders tell the people they love them and they are concerned about their souls. What they love is money, power and influence. They build hierarchal congregations. Title and status gives rank and power. Ordinations of Elders and Evangelists not according to the word of God. Jesus ordanes, prepares and sends out. The people of God who obey Jesus Commandments follow him. What care we about ordinations, and titles and such? I’m sister Brenda whether the Lord use me in Prophecy, Evangelism, or Teaching I am sister Brenda. I am not Prophetess Brenda, Evangelist Brenda or Teacher Brenda. I am a servant of the Lord and in humble submission do I live to please my God! Daily I take up my cross and follow Jesus. I am wrapped in sinful flesh.

Flattering titles and ordinations and positions lift up the flesh and pride in man. 21 Let me not, I pray you, accept any man’s person, neither let me give flattering titles unto man.22 For I know not to give flattering titles; in so doing my maker would soon take me away. Job 32:21-22 KJV The Pride of Life, Pride is the character of the Charismatic leader. 6 For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. 1 John 2:16 KJV
