One Body in Christ

Hello everyone! The word of God speaks of the One Body in Christ. The followers of Jesus are the members of the Body of Christ. Body defined, a group of people with a common purpose or function acting as an organized unit. Many religious congregations define themselves as a body of believers. My brothers and sisters in Christ Jesus. We must proceed with caution and be led by the Holy Ghost. The word of God is clear to us concerning the One Body in Christ. How then can there be bodies all over the place? There are members of the Body of Christ throughout the world.

Schisms within the Body of Christ?

No congregation of Followers of Jesus Christ is a body. You are a congregation that may contain members of the Body of Christ. There is One Body of Christ and that consists of all the members of the body. There are so many man made denominations proclaiming they are a body of believers. Yet they do not agree with other denominations. They do not support one another because they don’t agree. Each denomination thinks they are right and the other denominations are in error.

These denominations or divisions are called schisms. Schism defined, a split or division between strongly opposed sections or parties, caused by differences in opinion or belief. The formal separation of a Church into two Churches or the secession of a group owing to doctrinal and other differences. “That there should be no schism in the body; but that the members should have the same care one for another.” 1 Corinthians 12:25 KJV

The Word of God Says

(KJV) I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God. That ye present your bodies a living sacrifice. Holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. 2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind. That ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you. Not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith. 4 For as we have many members in one body, and all members have not the same office: 5 So we, being many, are one body in Christ, and every one members one of another. Romans 12:1-5 KJV
