The Joy of the Lord

Hello everyone! The Joy of the Lord. Joy defined, the emotion of great delight or happiness. Happiness caused by something exceptionally good or satisfying. Keen. Pleasure. Elation. Everyday we should experience Joy. To wake up every morning and you’re not in hell is a joyous occasion. Having a reasonable amount of health each morning, joyful. Gratitude stems from Joy. Be grateful!

“For the joy of the LORD is your strength.” Nehemiah 8:10 KJV

“The meek also shall increase their Joy in the LORD, and the poor among men shall rejoice in the Holy One of Israel.” Isaiah 29:19 KJV

“The voice of Joy, and the voice of gladness. The voice of the bridegroom, and the voice of the bride. And the voice of them that shall say, Praise the LORD of hosts. For the LORD is good. For his mercy endureth for ever. And of them that shall bring the sacrifice of praise into the house of the LORD. For I will cause to return the captivity of the land, as at the first, saith the LORD.” Jeremiah 33:11 KJV

The Joy of the Lord

The Joy of the Lord is Our Strength

There are professing followers of Jesus Christ weighed down by the cares of life. There will always be struggles in life. Jesus instructed us to pick up our cross daily and follow him. Focus on Jesus and not the problems before you. He will keep thee in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on him. How then can the followers of Jesus Christ be overcome by anxiety or depression? The Joy of the Lord truly is our strength!

I can testify of days past when I didn’t focus on Jesus. Sometimes I allowed myself to be overwhelmed with depression too often. I have to fight daily to maintain my focus on Jesus. We are in the world but not of the world. The chaos in the world can affect the lives of the followers of Jesus Christ. Don’t be discouraged my brothers and sisters in Christ Jesus. We have the Victory in Christ Jesus!

“These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.” John 16:33 KJV
