Offering

Hello everyone! Offering. Offerings help to support a Ministry Financially. An Organization needs money for success. When the Followers of Jesus Christ fellowship at any Ministry they will cheerfully support that Ministry and servants of God.

Malachi 3:8-12 and also Deuteronomy 18 are in reference to the Levitical Priesthood. The Children of Israel, instructed by God to bring their Tithes & Offerings to the Storehouse for the Levitical Priests. This is the Old Testament Covenant and is under the Law of Moses. These Tithes did not specify money but Oxen, Sheep, Corn, Wine, Oil and Fleece from the Sheep.

Collections for the Saints

In the New Testament the people of God supported the Servant of God who preached the Gospel of Jesus Christ. As well as collections given to the widows and the poor Saints. They gave willingly. No coercion. Without threats of curses and punishment from God for giving. No promise of Blessings from God if they gave. No misuse of the Word of God to bring fear to the people for Tithes and Offerings. Saints give because we are the people of God! We give what we can and gladly for that is pleasing to God. There are many paying 10% and can’t afford food, rent and necessities to live. Yet they give but do not receive the help they need. The money is not used to help the members of these Tithing congregations. It’s not used to help anyone but the leaders! Building up brick and mortar! A building and not the people of God?

¹ “Now concerning the collection for the saints, as I have given order to the churches of Galatia, even so do ye. ² Upon the first day of the week let every one of you lay by him in store, as God hath prospered him, that there be no gatherings when I come. ³ And when I come, whomsoever ye shall approve by your letters, them will I send to bring your liberality unto Jerusalem. ⁴ And if it be meet that I go also, they shall go with me.” 1 Corinthians 16:1-4 KJV

^“And of his fulness have all we received, and grace for grace. ¹⁷ For the law was given by Moses. But grace and truth came by Jesus Christ.” John 1:16-17 ⁶ “If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.” John 8:36 KJV

New Testament Giving or Offering

“But this I say, He which soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly; and he which soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully. ⁷ Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver. ⁸ And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work: ⁹ (As it is written, He hath dispersed abroad; he hath given to the poor: his righteousness remaineth for ever.

¹⁰ Now he that ministereth seed to the sower both minister bread for your food, and multiply your seed sown, and increase the fruits of your righteousness;) ¹¹ Being enriched in every thing to all bountifulness, which causeth through us thanksgiving to God. ¹² For the administration of this service not only supplieth the want of the saints, but is abundant also by many thanksgivings unto God; ¹³ Whiles by the experiment of this ministration they glorify God for your professed subjection unto the gospel of Christ, and for your liberal distribution unto them, and unto all men; ¹⁴ And by their prayer for you, which long after you for the exceeding grace of God in you. ¹⁵ Thanks be unto God for his unspeakable gift.” 2 Corinthians 9:6-15 KJV

Saints of God study the Word of God for yourselves being led of the Holy Ghost. Saints get out of these man made lessons and let the Holy Ghost teach you. God is Faithful!
