Daylight Saving Time is Coming to an End

Hello everyone! Today I’d like to talk a little about Daylight Saving Time ending! That’s right because our clocks will be set back an hour the days are getting shorter. Sunlight seems to come later in the morning and earlier in the evening. We will have more dark times in the day than light.

Daylight Saving Time Ends and so does Summer

Towards the end of the Summer, I always realize that it’s going to get dark early and earlier in the evening. I prefer the Summer months because of the long days and the light that comes along with them. Being a follower of Jesus Christ I Love the light! The spiritual side of it is this. “19 And this is the condemnation, that light has come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light because their deeds were evil. ²⁰ For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. ²¹ But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God. John 3:19-21″

The Natural Side

There is a natural side to this as well. There are many people in the world dealing with mental illnesses. The short days of light can have an effect on their temperament. It’s not a good feeling for many to wake up to the darkness. Travel to work in the darkness. And by the time they get off work in the evening, it’s already dark again. They are rarely seeing the daylight but darkness their entire day! Many look forward to the weekend when they can finally enjoy some daylight in the morning and throughout the day.

My brothers and sisters in Christ Jesus we need to pray for these souls. That they may come into the knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus the Christ. No matter how short or physically dark our days are we have Peace, Joy, Hope, and more in the Lord. Share the Gospel of Jesus Christ generously and freely. It’s the only way that those who are bound by mental illness can be made free! Who has all power over the creation but the creator himself the Lord God Almighty, Jehovah?!
