He Loves Me

My soul magnifies my Lord

My soul glorifies His name

It has taken me a long time to see

He loves me

Through all of my past sins

His love was still there

He was waiting for me

To open my heart

He was waiting for me

To repent

He was waiting for me

To accept His love

Jesus died on Calvary for me

He suffered on this earth for me

Christ came down from heaven for me

He took on flesh for me

I am amazed by His love

It is such a beautiful thing

I know I am worthy

Because He loves me

I am grateful for His love

Where would I be if He didn’t love me?

I would be lost forever

I must never forget that

Gratitude must be on my mind

Gratitude must be in my thoughts

Remembering where I came from

So I don’t repeat those mistakes

I must let Him know I am grateful

I must let everyone know

Jesus loves me

And I am so glad

Jesus love me

And I am so grateful

Jesus loves me

And that makes all the difference

For God So Loved the World

Romans 5:8 – But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. 1 John 4:19 – We love him because he first loved us. John 3:16 – For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. 1 John 4:16 – And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love, and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him. John 15:9 As the Father hath loved me, so have I loved you: continue ye in my love.
