Hello everyone! The soul of man is aware of the presence God. Soul is defined as the spiritual or immaterial part of a human being regarded as immortal. How could a creation not be aware of its creator, a creation that has been given breath directly from its creator? We were created in the image and likeness of our creator.
“And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: Generis 1:26a So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.” Genesis 1:26a & 27 KJV
The Body our flesh was formed from the dust of the ground and that is where it shall return at the end our earthly life. God breathed into mans nostril the breath of life, and man became a living soul. That soul is eternal because God is eternal (He is from everlasting to everlasting) and that soul now has the eternal breathe of God.
When this earthy body dies our soul then goes to its destination, heaven or hell. Which is determined individually by you and me, how we lived our life on earth. You see we have a choice! Will our life be comprised of pleasing our flesh body which will return to the dust? Not only will it return to the dust, it will not experience the consequences of disobedience and rebellion against God because it is temporal and will return to the dust from which it came. The Soul which is eternal will also return to that in which it came and that is God. So will you choose a life pleasing to God? By living your life following our Lord and Savior, Jesus the Christ to the Glory of God?
“And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.” Genesis 2:7 KJV
I don’t believe any man that says there is no God! He doesn’t believe it either but he will convince you of this foolishness, if you let him. Man has been rebellious and disobedient since the first Adam disobeyed God in the Garden of Eden, causing us to be separated from God.
“And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit. Howbeit that was not first which is spiritual, but that which is natural; and afterward that which is spiritual. The first man is of the earth, earthy: the second man is the Lord from heaven. As is the earthy, such are they also that are earthy: and as is the heavenly, such are they also that are heavenly. And as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly.” 1 Corinthians 15:45-49
The last Adam was made a quickening spirit, the last Adam became flesh and dealt among us and died on the cross and rose again on the 3rd day. The last Adam paid the penalty for mine and your sins and has reconciled us unto God, if we would simply repent of our sins, turn from our sins and follow him. This last Adam is Christ Jesus, the only begotten of the Almighty God and Father, the Savior of the world. My Redeemer!
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. 17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. John 3:16-17
