Accountability

Hello everyone! Accountable defined, subject to the obligation to report, explain, or justify something; responsible; answerable. Being accountable is not a punishment. Nor does it have to be a negative situation. It can be a great learning experience. It helps us to mature. Make better decisions. When everything is shiny and bright accountability is king.

Parents refusing to be accountable for their children. Each child is an individual. Parents are responsible for training their children. Train them up in the way they should go. Spoiled children tend to not function well with others. They are accustomed to having their way. The world will not accommodate them. You cannot blame every source outside your home for your children’s behavior or beliefs.

Accountable

Accountability. I learned a lot from my Mom.

She is a generous and giving person. My Mom taught me to value food and not to waste it. There are many hungry people in the world. Appreciate what you have. Respect adults and others. Be early, not on time. Help others. Obey your teachers. Do your best. The list goes on and on. Some things were never spoken but she is a living example of the behavior. I appreciate my Mom. She has her own issues. She did the best she could with what she had. I thank God for my Mom.

Accountability isn’t a bad word. We are accountable for our own souls. There are choices to make. Will you follow the teachings of Jesus Christ? Or will you follow the world? There are consequences for either choice. You will be personally held accountable for your decision. I will tell you, choose to follow Jesus Christ. Salvation is free. Eternity is forever. Hell fire is real. The Lake of Fire is real. Make sure that you’re held accountable for making the right decision.

“Train up a child in the way he should go, And when he is old he will not depart from it.” Proverbs 22:6 KJV

“For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Romans 6:23 KJV

“For what profit is it to a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul? Or what will a man give in exchange for his soul? For the Son of Man will come in the glory of His Father with His angels, and then He will reward each according to his works.” Matthew 16:26-27 KJV
