Hello everyone! The Great High Priest! There are times when we fall short in our walk with Jesus the Christ. If we were raising hands in agreement to the previous sentence. I would be sitting so both my hands and feet could be raised. Glory to God for His love, grace and mercy in my life! Thank you Jesus!
I don’t care what situation or circumstance the followers of Jesus Christ have gotten ourselves in. We know that we have a Great High Priest that will hear us. Whether great or small we should have a contrite spirit. Penitent, humbled by our sin and failure, seeking after God. “Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession. For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin. Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.” Hebrews 4:14-16 KJV
When we sin against God we need mercy! When we mess up that is not the time to go our friend or go somewhere and pout. It’s the perfect time to fall on our face and cry out to God! Sorrowful repentance is what’s needed. Take a break from beating yourself up and go straight to the throne of grace. Your Great High Priest that died for your sins and waiting patiently for you!
